Featuring Noadiah Shanti’s “Jesus, Trump, and The Little Mermaid Walk into a Bar”
What do you do when you transition to manhood but your Fox News-loving mom still holds the remote? From freight-train conceptions to “super-spreader” musical numbers, this is a witty, raw odyssey through the landscape of identities, spiritual reformation, and the eternal power of family recipes.
Noadiah Abraham Shanti is a writer, performer, parent, and kundalini yoga teacher. His show, Jesus, Trump & The Little Mermaid Walk into a Bar, was recently featured in L.A. Blade during its June run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. When he isn’t developing his upcoming memoir, A Man Called Mommy, he operates as a world expert on septic needs in notoriously entangled California coastal towns. And of course, he has a dog named Bo. Instagram: @noadiahshanti
Opening Act by Jessica Rothhaarr “Third Third”
How do you respond to a midlife crisis? Try hauling rocks up a mountain, fasting for four days…and realizing that’s just the beginning.
Jessica Rothhaar, 62, spent the last 40 year using her words to effect policy changes to improve people’s lives. She took her first storytelling class in 2025 as an antidote to the despair of watching Trump destroy everything she had worked for and believed in. She performed Third Third at the Marsh in April 2026, is working on a new story about Jews and Nazis, and looks forward to dancing on Trump’s grave.
